my Story

I graduated from  the Ontario College of Health and Technology Massage Therapy Program in 2011.  My approach to Massage Therapy is multi-faceted and incorporates techniques incorporated from the many courses I have taken such as Electrotherapy, Ultrasound, Cupping, Kineseotaping, Indian Head Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Bamboo Massage,  and Aromatherapy.  I am passionate about assisting patients as they work towards their goals for health and believe that this is possible by supporting the body's innate ability to restore its strength and balance in areas of injury and pain.  I consider the effects of postural dysfunction and and make recommendations for awareness and improvement of posture.  I have become quite skilled in pre-natal massage and love to make both mommy and baby as comfortable as possible through the pregnancy.

I grew up in St. Catharines and married my high school sweetheart and we have 2 beautiful daughters.  After several years of  office work I needed a change and found myself drawn to massage therapy.  After graduating from Ontario College I worked for a few months at 4 Your Health and then relocated to Family First Chiropractic where I spent 5 years working closely with Dr. Heather Robson-McInnis gaining invalueable experience treating pre natal patients along with all other types of injury.  After leaving Family First I joined Massage Therapy Niagara and  am now thrilled to be working soley from my home where I continue to learn new methods to help you feel better.
